Students who have fulfilled the requirements for a single- or joint-major Honours degree in a subject other than Mathematical Economics, Financial Science, or Economics may graduate with a minor in Economics if they have successfully completed the courses listed below.

The minor in Economics consists of the following 5.0 credits:

  • 2.0 ECON credits consisting of ECON 1010H, 1020H, 2000H, and 2010H

  • 3.0 ECON credits in addition to the above

Notes

  • ECON 2000H, 2010H, and 2610H are considered equivalent to the 3000 level in order to satisfy the University requirement for at least 7.0 credits at the 3000 or 4000 level in an Honours program and at least 4.0 in a General program.

  • Students may choose to complete only one of the Specialization in Economics (within the Business Administration program) or the minor in Economics.
